High speed up to 12Mb connection to the MPI / Profibus port on the PLC.

LCD display for display of cable into Automatic MPI or PPI modes.


Note this cable also programs S7-200 PLC’s in PPI mode, Siemens USB cable for MPI does not also support PPI.
This cable also support 12Mb Profibus programming.

Comes with STEP7 embedded driver to add a device to the PC/PG interface.

Note: STEP7 5.5 SP2 and newer no longer supports serial COM ports including virtual COM ports when using Windows7 64bit. TIA Portal does not support COM ports at all, no matter which version of the operating system is used.

All version of STEP7 and TIA Portal are supported using the supplied Embedded driver which adds the cable as a device inside the PG/PC interface.
