This cable is used to connect the diagnostic package S-info to the IM253.

On the GSD file disk supplied with the IM253 module is a program called S-info. The program allows for detailed diagnostic information from within the IM253. You can access a log file in the IM253 that stores the last faults and conditions.

The software is free, you only need to purchase this cable to make use of this maintainence tool.
